GET-AHED on the OeAD Erasmus+ blog

A new blog post featuring the University Greening Toolbox, developed within the GET-AHED – Green Education and Transition: A Higher Education Digital Buddy project, has been published on the OeAD Erasmus+ Blog.

The OeAD (Austria’s Agency for Education and Internationalisation) is the national agency responsible for implementing the Erasmus+ programme in Austria, as well as other international education, research and mobility initiatives.

The blog article highlights how the Toolbox supports universities across Europe in strengthening their role as drivers of the green transformation. It addresses the challenge many universities face in moving beyond isolated sustainability measures towards coherent, institution-wide strategies.

As the blog notes, GET-AHED’s digital platform offers a structured approach for higher education institutions to reflect on, develop, and enhance their sustainability performance. Key features include:

  • a Green Self-Assessment Toolkit with indicators covering management, operations, education, research and more,
  • Training Resources, and
  • practical Case Studies to facilitate green transition.

The Erasmus+ post underscores the importance of embedding sustainability strategically at institutional level and presents the Toolbox as a practical, user-friendly resource for HE communities looking to take their green efforts further. Read the full blog (in German) on the OeAD Erasmus+ site.
