The GreenSTEPS project: Sustainability Tools and Engagement Platform for Secondary schools was partly inspired by the GET-AHED project, and two other projects at the Hincks Centre. This is a great example of the GET-AHED project’s influence beyond higher education.
The GreenSTEPS project is designed to equip post-primary students and teachers with the tools and knowledge needed to actively contribute to the green transition.
The initiative is a direct response to the National Strategy on Education for Sustainable Development to 2030, which emphasises moving beyond theoretical learning to tangible action in schools and communities.
